Sub-9 Death March

March 10, 2012 ~ Teams of two race to be the first to visit five historical cemetery check-points in and around the Hoosier National Forest. Three mandatory check-points will be known to riders in advance while the other two will be selected randomly from a list of additional optional check-points and will be announced the morning of the event.
Teams can choose any route and can visit check-points in any order they choose. Prizes are awarded to the top finishing teams.

International Mountainbike Instructor Certification (IMIC)

~ The International Mountainbike Instructor Certification (IMIC) program is the industry leading mountain bike certification provider led by two-time Downhill Masters World Champion and IMIC Master Coach, Shaums March. Sub-9 Productions has partnered with the IMIC to offer a Level II IMIC Instructor certification course once again at Brown County State Park as part of the annual Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Clinic in June 2012.

Course participants spend three days working with IMIC Master Coach, Shaums March and other high level IMIC coaches to learn the techniques and methods of the certification program that will train and prepare them to safely lead group rides and conduct beginner level lessons. While there are four (4) levels of certification available (Ride Leader, Instructor, Coach, Master Coach), the Level II IMIC Instructor is the only level of certification offered at this event. Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Clinic

June 9-10, 2012 ~ The Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Clinic is more than just a clinic. It's an entire weekend of camping, mountain biking, fun and friends. Come for the day or stay for the weekend. We welcome anyone to attend who is interested in learning to mountain bike ~ whether you are someone who plans to race or someone who just wants to enjoy a casual ride in the woods.
The annual Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Clinic takes place the second weekend in June at Brown County State Park in beautiful Nashville, Indiana. The event is recognized throughout the country as one of the most established and well run in the women's cycling community.

Sub-9 Super D

August 19, 2012 ~ Super D is one of the fastest types of mountain bike racing and is best described as a downhill cross-country race that pits individual racers against the clock. The Sub-9 Super D has a 5.5 mile, 100% single-track course that includes 1.25 miles of short, easy climbing and 4.25 miles of fast, flowing downhill with some technical sections interspersed. The course includes the SRAM Speed Trap where riders reach speeds in access of 30 mph!

Brown County Breakdown
October 12-14, 2012 ~ The Brown County Breakdown is one of the largest and most popular mountain bike events in the Midwest, and is the biggest fund-raising event for the Hoosier Mountain Bike Association, raising more than $23,000 in 2011 and over $85,000 since it's inception in 2005!
It is an epic mountain bike ride on beautiful trails within one of the largest and best-preserved contiguous hardwood forests in the Midwest. It isn't a race, it's a great ride in the woods with a few hundred of your closest friends! The ride begins and ends in beautiful Brown County State Park near Nashville, Indiana. We have a full weekend of events planned so be sure to mark your calendar for October 12-14, 2012!

Gravel Grovel
November 24, 2012 ~ The Gravel Grovel is a self-supported solo riding excursion through the beautiful hills of Indiana's Hoosier National Forest and beyond. Now entering its third year, riders can choose between a 62 mile (100 k) self-supported race using a combination of gravel roads, paved roads and old double track jeep trail or a shortened 30-mile fun ride. Beginning and ending at the Maumee Reservation in Norman, IN, participants will race along Mother Nature's cyclocross course through the beautiful Hoosier National Forest.
