Flow.  Three words that describe one of the best-kept secrets of United States mountain biking.  With over twenty-five miles of pristine, winding single track, these trails have something for every level of rider.   In its March 2009 issue, Bike magazine named Brown County State Park one of the best 33 trail systems in North America.  Brown County was recently named as part of the 2011 class of IMBA "Epic" mountain biking destinations.

French Lick Resort ~ French Lick, Indiana

The trail at French Lick Resort begins with the 5.5 mile Buffalo  Trace Trail.  Named for the buffalo that once roamed the area, this beginner level loop can be ridden either direction, leaving  riders to enjoy a steady, easy climb followed by a fast, flowing  decent no matter which direction they choose.  The intermediate  level Waterfall Loop was completed in 2010 and offers riders  more technical terrain, steeper climbs and views of a gorgeous  waterfall that makes you forget you're in Indiana.

Located along the Ohio River in Southwest Indiana, O'Bannon Woods State Park offers some of the most unique trails in the region.  With its combination of newly created mountain bike trails as well as a rugged twenty-four mile Adventure Hiking Trail (AHT) that was recently opened to mountain biking, riders can expect a true back-country experience comparable to the most remote trails in the Pisgah National Forest, N.C.

Though fairly undiscovered compared to other trails in the  area, Versailles State Park is quickly being recognized for  its challenging trails and varied terrain.  With over fourteen  miles of mostly intermediate trails, riders can expect to find  tough, yet sustainable climbs with challenging rock  sections.  Trail built along a cliff-side will not only leave  riders in awe of the scenery, but the quality of trails built  here.
